Milestones of the Club
A look back at the key achievements that have defined our journey together.
2020
Through different events, fundraisers, tournament prizes, and support from individuals, in the Year 2020, Sunshine Squash Club donated $3600 to Vancouver General Hospital as a symbol for their success and their intent on what to do with it.
We are honored to be the recipient of the Kevin Kydd Junior Service Award: The award is presented to an individual who has unselfishly inspired, coached, or mentored Junior squash players. This award was started and donated by Paul King and Family.
2022
2025
Expansion to the US. In November 2025, the Sunshine Squash Club's Boston Branch was established. With Aaron Xu stepping up as our President and Hannah Xu as our Vice President, by doing this we have succeeded in increasing the growth of squash beyond Canadian borders.
The opening of a Toronto Branch occurred in 2026 and served as a milestone for the Club as it would now be operating in 2 locations across Canada, increasing the potential to grow squash, especially where it thrives.
